Life changes

As I walk down the street all I hear is silence. The noise of the city is gone. I can still imagine the sounds just like they use to be when walking to work, car horns, people yelling and the footsteps. This all seems to be replaying in my head over and over like it was yesterday I could hear just fine. Walking in to our local star bucks to order a triple mokalota isn’t even the same. I have to write everything down before I go. It gets hard when there is new people working and they don’t know and they try to ask me questions. I am getting better at reading lips but it is still hard to talk to people.
